The Largest Minority radio show has been on the air since November, 2002.

Currently, the program is aired and produced via The Pacifica Network’s New York station, WBAI, 99.5 F.M., available throughout the New York Metropolitan area including Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut and the northern suburbs.

Current episodes air at 9 PM EST/EDT on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month (when available) live on 99.5 FM, as well as streaming online at the WBAI, 99.5 F.M website.  Audio archives are posted immediately after the live show, available for listening any time.  Transcripts are posted as available.

 


WBAI is one of the five Pacifica Network Stations broadcasting nationwide. As a community radio station, its mission includes bringing to the airwaves, the voices of under served and marginalized communities, such as the Largest Minority.

The Pacifica Network grew out of the pacifist resistance to the second world war. Founded in the 1950’s by Lew Hill, the network is dedicated to being a progressive voice offering a community alternative to mainstream media.
